Long time no blog….

So all i can say is sorry, i have been in a slump and had no interest to go stamping until the sameday driver came to my door with all my new goodies and i have been stamping like a crazy lady, i am working on my swaps for our monthly meeting at kay’s and just trying to use some new stamp sets so here are a couple cards i made tonight. The second one is using boho background stamp set and the first one is a new stamp set available Mar 1st called For Father. Hope you like the cards and i promise to up date more often. Wedding Invitation

Hi everyone and sorry that i haven’t updated my blog in a couple day but i have been online trying to plan the perfect family vacation to Florida for this summer, we plan on going for June 25 to July 11 that 16 night, i am waiting to book the tickets because the new seat sales for west jet will be up soon, why pay full price when you can get a seat sale..right.. Last time we went to Orlando we did everything with a travel agent and now with everything online i can do it myself. I have picked the hotel and read every review i can find to make sure it is what we are looking for, we have decided to go with a 2 bedroom Villa instead of a standard hotel room it offers a full kitchen, washer/dryer and 2 bathrooms a must when travelling with 2 kids and it is located on a resort with 3 pools, and everything you need for a great stay..and walmart superstore is just up the road..LOL. We are booking a car online from dollar.com and booking all our Disney and Universal tickets directly from there sites. It is sure to be a great trip, i just have to wait for west jet so i can book everything else.LOL. So back to stamping i told you i made a wedding invitation this past week, it is simple but a great way to save money by making your own all you need is a stamp set, a printer, some different paper, and some ribbon. Tonight i got alot of projects/ samples done and have lots to show you. One of the things i made tonight was a card for a swap with my upline Cheryl it is using a stamp set from the sale-a-bration sets that you can earn free and i also made a treat box to match, the treat box is this weeks tutorials on splitcoaststampers. I also made a very simple wedding invitation that i will share in the coming days. I hope you enjoy the samples and check back often.

More Rub-ons

Will i am still playing with the rub-ons that you can get free with a $70.00 order, there are so many things you can do with them, i have done candles, candle holders, glass jars, and paper crafts using these. I have to share tonight a candle i done a couple days ago and really think it looks great. I also made some other great project that i will share later. Check back often.

New Page

Well the weekend is coming to a end and i though after the kids went to bed i would get to work, so i went downstairs and  i got alot done, i used the rubons to do a couple more projects that can be seen at my workshop Friday night and i done a new scrapbook page tonight, again it is pictures of Emily as Flower girl at my sister’s wedding. I picked this layout right out of the Stampin Up catalogue and just used different colors. The catalogue is really a great resource for ideas. I have a busy day tomorrow so i am going to bed, so i hope you enjoy this layout and comments are welcomed. Check back often.

Workshop

Treat Pouch

Well we certainly got lots of snow today and it’s still snowing, glad i don’t have to shovel tomorrow and Trevor finally got himself a snow-blower this year so he won’t be shovelling either. I went downstairs tonight to get some scrapbooking  done and didn’t get anything finished because it took me all night to pick out the pictures i wanted to use, so i will post the page when i get it done. It was really quite here today only one kid, Emily went to her cousin Stacey’s for the night and life with one kid is a breeze. I did do a little treat pouch that is in the new technique booklet and i used Stampin Up designer paper and i think you can use it for a number of  different treats. Well that’s it for tonight. Scrapbooking

Well it took me all night to do this scrapbooking page, the picture is so special to me , it is Emily as a flower girl for my sister Lori’s Wedding in 2005. I took this picture of her by the window, she wasn’t posing and i didn’t even know the picture was so nice until i uploaded the pictures when we got home but as you can see it is pretty special, true beauty. She was gorgeous that day and well of course everyday, her dress i searched for the pattern  for a long time it had to be just right and i had it hand made by a lady in Mount Pearl. You can’t see on the dress but there was 6 layers to the bottom and there were little flowers on the outside layer. Well getting back to the page, i printed off the picture again tonight and cropped it to the size i wanted and decided to finally get this page done. I wanted something simple and beautiful, so tell me want you think and if it needs something else. I look forward to your comments. I am saying good night and check back often.
